Dr. Moses Trevizo, ND, MS
Naturopathic Physician & Veteran
From Navy Electronics to Naturopathic Expertise
Born into a military family in Southern California, Dr. Trevizo’s life has been a journey through various disciplines and geographies. After spending his early years in multiple locations due to his family’s military background, he joined the US Navy as an Electronics Technician while residing in Arizona. Over the span of six years, he dedicated himself to specializing in satellite communications and RADAR systems, meticulously honing his expertise and cultivating a profound comprehension of intricate electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
Transitioning from military to civilian life, Dr. Trevizo returned to Arizona, working in the construction industry while pursuing a part-time Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. His career in electronics led him to serve in various capacities, including a position at the Federal Aviation Administration, where he further honed his expertise in complex systems.
However, it was his personal health challenges that introduced him to the world of naturopathic medicine. After conventional treatments offered limited solutions, he was inspired by a former engineer-turned-naturopath to explore alternative approaches. This pivotal encounter led him to relocate to Portland, Oregon, to attend the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM).
Dr. Trevizo emerged with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master of Science in Integrative Medicine Research. Specializing in functional gastroenterology, he has a keen interest in how dietary and microbial factors influence health. His work with Thaena, a pioneering biotech startup focusing on postbiotics, underscores his commitment to innovative, research-backed treatments.
Dr. Trevizo primarily sees patients out of Tummy Temple in Lacey, Washington, offering integrative gastrointestinal and naturopathic care focusing on mens health, and hRT. In addition, he also welcomes patients through South Bay Wellness in the unincorporated South Bay district of Olympia, Washington. At South Bay Wellness's beautiful farm setting, Dr. Trevizo works with patients interested in expanding beyond naturopathic medicine to include genetics counseling, lifestyle counseling, and evidence-based lifestyle medicine.
Dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health, Dr. Trevizo brings a unique perspective to the naturopathic and integrative medicine communities, integrating his clinical, research, and technical backgrounds. His expertise across disciplines allows him to create innovative and highly individualized solutions for patients’ complex needs.

Initially drawn to nutrition science, her passion gradually expanded into the comprehensive scope of naturopathic medicine.

During her clinical and postgraduate work, she specialized in women’s health, massage therapy, and endocrine disorders, while refining advanced skills in IV nutrient therapy, IV ozone with ultraviolet blood irradiation, and regenerative joint injections.
